5 Ways to Make Gratitude a Habit

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. (Ferris Bueller)

People who live their lives with gratitude seek out more success because they cherish the results of their efforts. They can put failure into perspective when things don't go as planned. So let’s try five ways to practise gratitude in our daily lives:

Notice the Small Things in Your Life: Start noticing and identifying the things for which you are grateful. Pay attention to the little things in your life that may seem ordinary.

Savour the Feeling of Gratitude: Take a pause, make note of and savour that genuine sense of thankfulness. Allow yourself some time to process it. Embrace it. Take time to appreciate your blessings when they occur.

Express Your Gratitude: That gratitude may be as simple as a single sentence or a small gesture. But it can, however, have a significant impact on someone's day or even life. Why not browse our collection to give love & health to yourself & your dear ones?

Practice Mindfulness & Meditation: Using gratitude as a form of meditation can be a very effective tool. In a gratitude meditation, you think about what you're thankful for. This form of mediation often leaves you happy and calm in mind and about life.

Be Grateful for Your Challenges: Gratitude isn't just about being grateful for good things. In fact, thinking about bad or challenging situations can sometimes help you pinpoint exactly what you have to be grateful for. Be thankful for how the challenge has shaped you into the person you are today.

Make a serious effort to make gratitude a daily habit, rather than confining thanks to just one special day out of the year. Take time to think about the things you value in life, and remember to always be hearty in your admiration and generous in your praise.
